Understanding Network CCTV Cameras Part I

Camera webcams are used for many purposes, but the most popular is to catch people in the act of doing something they are not actually doing. There are now many companies that sell live camera webcams online. For those who are not familiar with them there are basically two types - one of those which actually records the activity (which is called a "hard-wired" camera) and one of those which operate using an "analog" camera - one that takes the pictures and transmits them to a monitor/receiver that is connected to the internet. The internet is where all the action happens these days.

These cameras are not able to transmit video directly to a monitor; instead they only have a receiver. To watch live on the web via these webcams online - all you need to do is sign up and pay the corresponding fees. These websites offer different packages depending on what your needs are. For example, some of these websites offer free viewing of live videos. In order to receive this service, you simply need to sign up for a free account. Once you're signed up you can then choose and pay for the package of webcams online that best fits your needs.

In order to view these cameras live over the internet you need a special receiver/webcam. These webcams are connected to a special IP network (Internet Service Provider). They can connect to the internet anywhere in the world. Because the cameras are connected to the internet through the IP network, they are virtually open to view over the world wide web. This can be a great service for you, because you don't need to be right there to be able to view the action!

In order to use the камеры в реальном времени for Internet Surveillance, you need a special recording software. There are many types of software available online. Some of them are web-based and require installation and downloads. Other software is available to run on your own computer and does not need any special attention. In order to install the software, you will either need to purchase a software CD - a good one with lots of great features and add-ins - or you can burn the software to an audio CD and play it on your personal computer.

After installing the software on your computer, you can then log into your camera's account (you can do this from the control panel if you've set up the camera's account in the same manner as you'd normally). From the control panel, you can then access your camera's logs. These logs tell you what was going on when your camera was turned on and what was going on when the camera wasn't turned on. These logs also show you how many live cameras you have, how many cameras are linked to a single IP address and how many IP addresses are associated with one camera. It will also tell you which IP address was used to access each camera and the user name and password for that user. These logs will also tell you whether or not live cameras have been transmitted to a television screen or video recorder.

If your camera has motion activated, it will record any changes in its view. The view recorded will be stored on its internal hard drive for later use. The quality of the recorded images will depend on how good your camera's optics are. You will usually be able to preview the captured images in their native format if you're unsure about the quality or if you're simply interested in seeing how other people have viewed your live cameras.
